yknow, i enjoy tumblr as much as the next person
but i completely resent that it is generally referred to as a blogging website. the bulk of this so-called “blogging” is various pictures mostly irrelevant to those who post them. i’ve unfollowed so many people because i expected them to have things to say and instead just got reblog upon reblog of strangers wearing clothes nobody actually wears out in public, and painfully cliche photography. i’m not saying i’m against people reblogging things, but if your tumblr is 99% reblogged photos, please refrain from calling it a blog and just call it your tumblr page or perhaps your online scrapbook. a blog by definition is “a Web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. on a regular basis,” so lets not use the term loosely.
